These printers will change what you think about inkjet printing. Until recently, the term inkjet was sinonimous with “good, but not as good” as a cibachrome or light-jet print. With the arrival of Epson’s new 4800, 7800, & 9800 Stylus Pro printers and their new K3 Ultrachrome inksets, all that has changed. These printers are now capable of generating a deeper black and wider color gamut than any previous photographic process to date, all while making prints that are also more durable and longer lasting. We can’t say enough about these printers. But don’t just listen to us – let us give you a demo or send you a print sample – we’re confident that you will be impressed.

Having a built-in paper tray along with a roll feeder makes this printer the most versatle of the line in media handling. In fact, there are four ways to load paper into this machine: paper tray (up to 17”x22”), roll paper, single top feed, and single front feed. Thicknesses of media can range from ink-jet paper (4.9 mil/28gsm) to posterboard (47 mil/890 gsm). Compact design still produces up to 16” x 24” prints with amazing color fidelity and shadow detail.

Taking up less floor-space than the larger 9800, the 7800 can still produce 24”x30” prints on photographic paper, posterboard, or even canvas. Utilizing all the same amazing technology as the smaller 4800 and larger 9800, this printer is perfect for those who want an in-between size. Utilizing pressurized ink cartridges the printhead does not need to recharge with ink every few passes, but can continue printing uninterupted across the full width. Stand included.

At 44” wide, this is the largest printer Epson makes and it is one of our main production printers at Muench Photography. A true workhorse, the 9800 can produce large prints, posters, or banners while the extra width allows tiling of smaller prints for efficient production runs. Also uses pressurized ink cartridges. This is a very solid built machine intended for professional printing. Stand included.
